Every scholarship on this page is funded by an AfroScholars sponsor and awarded through the platform.

Each listing shows the sponsor, the level and field of study it covers, the country it is open to, how many scholars it funds and when it closes. Browsing needs no account.

These are not third-party listings. You apply here, using the verified profile you build once, and the award is disbursed and tracked on the platform — so both you and the sponsor can see exactly where an application stands. The requirements — full eligibility criteria, minimum qualifications, minimum GPA, how scholars are selected, and the document checklist — are free too, but they need an account. Creating one also lets us match you to scholarships you are actually eligible for.

Applying is free. We do not charge application fees, and no one at MyAfroScholars will ever ask a student to pay for an award.
